Jerrie Anderson got her start perfomring in musical theater. Some of her favorite roles from that time include Evilene from The Wiz and The Mysterious Man from Into the Woods. Jerrie has studied at the Theatre Lab under teachers like George Grant and Michael Russotto.

Her most recent training was through being a part of the Black Arts Institute Winter Immersion through the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City. To keep her creative spirit alive during quarantine, Jerrie wrote and starred in her own web series "irie d works from home" as well as

tried her hand at creating short skits and songs, all posted to her Youtube channel. During the day, Jerrie works with international students, which doesn't allow for as much creativity but is still pretty fun.
