Course Description

Have you ever watched Saturday Night Live and thought that you could write something like that? Ever find yourself being the funniest person in the room, but you don’t know how to do more with it? In this four-week course, you'll learn the basics of sketch comedy writing and some different types of sketches. You'll learn how to take your own observations and truths and turn them into fully formed scenes. You'll also learn the mechanics of LIT's philosophy in the writers’ room — every joke can work, and we're all more successful when we're positive, supportive and constructive. NO PREREQUISITES. Classes are two hours long each week for four weeks (except for holidays). Students may miss one class
