David believes that laughter is the best medicine, but he's not a doctor. You can get two show tickets to LIT and still call him in the morning though. He started writing plays and performing in theater in his home state of Minnesota, but his first foray into the world of improv comedy began in 2015 in Washington, DC. In addition to his improv experience, David was also a co-writer and actor in Not Compatible, a short film made for DC's 48 Hour Film Project, and his full-length play, The Invention of Baseball, is premiering at the Minneapolis Fringe Festival in 2016. David currently writes and performs with Hot & Sweaty, and directs LIT's House Comics. He previously directed Thermal Runaway, LIT's improv team, which received LIT's Best Improv Team Award for 2017.
