Need a creative outlet?  Looking for more writer room experience and feedback on your material?  Want to take your premises and jokes to the next level?  Are we asking you way too many questions before we get to the point?  Make your writing better, tighter and enhance your collaboration skills with this comedy writiers' room taught by award-winning writer, Nancy Safavi.  Writers may bring any type of written material e.g. stand-up, sketch, plays, short film, satire etc., and work in a writers' room to develop and improve their written work.    

Each writer will also receive the opportunity to have their material read as a staged reading or performed to an audience at a LIT show on a Wednesday at 8 pm in Adams Morgan.  Nothing is more rewarding than hearing the first laughs to something you wrote.

PREREQUISITES:  LIT's Stand-Up 101, Sketch 101 or 201.
