COLUMBUS - While driving along I-71 area woman Jessica Weisner began to wonder if it was too late in her life for her to adopt a highway. Weisner stated "You know, I've always thought about doing it but I just never found the time. I've wanted to have my own highway since I was a kid, I just hope I didn't wait too long." Studies show with the younger generation waiting longer to get married or choosing to stay single altogether that more and more men and women are considering the option of adopting a highway. "I know it won't be easy" added Weisner, "But I think I would make a great highway mom, and people are living longer and longer. Who's to say who is too old or too young to take care of a highway?"
